Here’s what Barbie Imperial said about the current status with her ex-boyfriend.
BARBIE IMPERIAL – Famous Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial speaks about the status of communication with Diego Loyzaga, her ex-boyfriend.
It has been four months already since the former couple Barbie Imperial and Diego Loyzaga actually broke up. And after confirming their split, rumors about them getting back together emerged after they were spotted hanging out shortly after the actor’s return to the country from his US vacation.
In a previous article, the 23-year-old actress denied that they have rekindled romance. The actor previously admitted that it almost happened but they realized that they are better off not being a couple or having any sort of romantic affiliation.
She said, “Okay po kasi kami. Hindi naman po kami magkaaway pero hindi naman po kami nagbalikan. Friends lang, friends.”
But just recently, in an interview, Barbie shared that as of now, they dropped off the label as friends. They also mutually decided to cut off any communication between them. They believed that this way, being friends would be of no help, most especially, if there are still feelings involved.
She said based on a report from PEP, “Like, we had to stop talking kasi siyempre, kahit naman gusto naming maging magkaibigan, may feelings pa rin, di ba? Kaka-break lang namin… So siguro space muna and we’ll see if kaya talaga namin maging friends.”
They also feel like getting back together would be of no good for their personal growth. For now, their focus will be on their respective growth and she is not shutting down any door to any possibilities in the future.
