Diego Loyzaga indirectly answered question about Barbie Imperial
Kapamilya actor Diego Loyzaga answered that speculation that he is on a soul-searching trip after he and actress Barbie Imperial broke up.
Last December, Diego went to the U.S. and fans immediately noticed that Barbie was not with him. When asked why the actress did not join his trip to the States, the actor reasoned out that it has something to do with the passport.
A month after Diego left the Philippines, Barbie confirmed in an interview that they already broke up. She chose not to share the reason behind this. However, Ogie Diaz mentioned in his Showbiz Update vlog that his source said that the breakup has something to do with Barbie’s trait of being too clingy.
In a recent interview for his upcoming movie The Wife, based on the article in PEP, Diego Loyzaga was not able to avoid being asked about him and Barbie Imperial. He stressed that he is not on soul-searching trip when asked what he discovered from his “soul-searching trip”.
“Who said I was on a soul-searching trip?” he said but still answered the question about what he discovered in himself. “Discoveries… Ahhh… I always believe that when we take time off for yourself…” the actor said.
He added that he discovered this back in 2018 when he had his showbiz break. Through that, he was able to found answers to his questions that other people can’t answer.
“And when you’re by yourself, parang nasasagot mo rin siya,” he said. Diego Loyzaga clarified that he has not been along the entire time during his trip. Travelling has become therapeutic for him.
When asked to elaborate on what he discovered in himself, Diego said, “I’d like to keep what I’ve learned about myself to myself.”
