HERLENE BUDOL – Binibining Pilipinas aspirant Herlene Budol shares that she will use the Filipino language for the pageant.

In a previous article, Herlene Budol a.k.a Hipon Girl expressed that she is joining this year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant and she is serious about it. This local pageant will be crowning four ladies for four major pageants: Miss International, Miss Grand International, Miss Globe, and Miss Intercontinental.

She has already submitted her application form to join the prestigious nationwide pageant. The 22-year-old talent said that her new manager is among the reasons why she decided to join. He gave her a boost and that made her confident to join. Her new manager saw the potential in her to become a beauty queen.

In joining, she understood that being fluent and speaking well in English is an advantage. She was taking her lessons but no skill is instantly acquired. She knew that she is not well-spoken when it comes to the English language but she believes that it will not make her any less deserving of this opportunity.

“Opo, indi ko po eto ikahihiya naiyak ako dahil sa english. but it doesnt mean hanggang dyan nalang si Hipon girl nyo. Hindi ko pipilitin ang mag-Ingles. Wikang Filipino po ang gagamitin ko,” she declared.

Despite the demeaning comments, Hipon looks at them as something that will inspire her to do better. And amid all those, she remained grateful to those who are supportive of her dreams.

Meanwhile, Hipon rose to fame after her stint as one of the female hosts on Willie Revillame’s show Wowowin in 2019 and remained active in the industry. She is also active in social media.
