The 18th birthday is usually extra special in the life of a young woman. It is considered as the time when a girl becomes a woman and the birthday celebration usually includes the “18 Roses” or the debutant’s dance with 18 of the most important men her life.
Usually, the 18 Roses includes the debutant’s dance with her father, brothers, cousins, closest male friends, and, in some cases, romantic partner. There are also birthday activities like the 18 Treasures wherein 18 women closest to the debutant will be giving her special gifts along with a birthday message and the meaning of the gift.
Recently, it was presidential daughter Veronica “Kitty” Duterte’s turn to celebrate her 18th birthday. A party in a hotel in Davao City was held for the President’s youngest daughter.
The 18th birthday party of Veronica “Kitty” Duterte was attended by some of the most popular people in different fields. One of them is Pastor Apollo Quiboloy who is a spiritual adviser of the 77-year-old President.
Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is the leader of the Philippine-based Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) restorationist church. It is no secret to the public that the Pastor and Pres. Duterte are friends. The 77-year-old President even previously revealed that the Pastor has given him a house as a gift and he will only live in it if he has retired from politics.
Pres. Duterte’s term as the Philippines’ Chief Executive is until June 2022. His daughter, incumbent Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, is running for vice president under Lakas-CMD in the upcoming May 2022 Elections.
