Gretchen Barretto Makes IG Account Private After Verbal Exchange W/ Bato Dela Rosa
GRETCHEN BARRETTO – Socialite Gretchen Barretto made her Instagram account private after a verbal exchange with Senator Bato Dela Rosa.
The Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous substances panel recently investigated the alleged abduction of sabungeros involved in e-sabong (electronic cockfighting). Senator Bato Dela Rosa is the chairman of the said panel.
The panel invited Gretchen Barretto’s business partner and close friend, Atong Ang during the investigation. The former actress shared a video that showed her reaction to Bato’s way of questioning Atong.
Gretchen Barretto noticed Bato Dela Rosa’s “expensive” watch during the hearing. She questioned how the former PNP chief was able to afford the said timepiece.
Bato fired back at the socialite saying he has the right to wear a luxury watch also. He even revealed that his watch costs 85,000.
“Yung unang-una sinabi niya mahal daw yung relo ko. Bakit siya lang ba may karapatan na magsuot ng 85,000 na halaga ng relo? Bakit hindi pala ako pwede? Mahal talaga yun para sakin, pero sa kanila, ewan ko kung talagang totoong mahal sa kanila yun,” Bato said.

Bato Dela Rosa also refuted Gretchen Barretto’s claim that he is among the “players of online sabong. Then, Gretchen retorted she’s “very willing” to present “evidence” pertaining to the same.
On IG, La Greta presented a challenge: “Time & place? Hurry pls.” Note Greta’s post also included a screenshot of the lawmaker’s interview with SMNI News.
After her bold challenge in relation to her alleged evidence against the politician, Gretchen’s IG is now private.
