Gretchen Barretto continues her “Love is Essential” charity works
Socialite Gretchen Barretto donates an ambulance to Victor R. Potenciano Hospital in Mandaluyong City as part of her charitable endeavor that she calls “Love is Essential”.
The charity works of the former actress have evolved to the next level. Last year, many showbiz personalities and reporters received love boxes from her with expensive grocery items.
La Greta also donated wheelchairs through the digital talk show of Cristy Fermin and Lolit Solis. Just recently, the longtime partner of business tycoon Tonyboy Cojuangco also donated trucks of rice to frontliners.
Following this, Gretchen Barretto took a higher notch in donating. Based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal, she handed over an ambulance to a Mandaluyong hospital.
In her Instagram post, the socialite shared that for the 49th anniversary of Victor R. Potenciano Hospital, she will give an ambulance as a gift. “It’s going to be their 49th year, so I will be launching my first ever “Love Is Essential” ambulance and that is my 49th anniversary present. And that is the wish that I’m granting them. And also, to the frontliners of VRP, on that day we, we will be granting 1024 frontliners,” La Greta shared.
In the second video, Gretchen showed to her followers the two ambulances parked at their garage. The former actress said that she will reveal to whom the second ambulance will be given.
With this, many social media followers of the socialite lauded her for her charitable endeavors. Some wished that La Greta will continue to have more blessing so that she will help more people in the future.
