Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis shared this write-up about the recent controversial statement of actress-host Kris Aquino against her “ex”.
To recall, Kris encouraged Kakampinks not to vote for her “ex” who is in the UniTeam. Although she did not mention any name, it was obvious that she was talking about senatorial candidate Herbert Bautista to whom she shared a romantic past.
Rumor has it that Kris was not invited to join the rally in Tarlac because allegedly, the Leni-Kiko tandem is trying not be associated with the Aquino’s anymore.
The said statement of Kris garnered various reactions from the online community and Manay Lolit also shared her thoughts on this. In one of her recent Instagram posts, the veteran showbiz writer said that controversial statement was “very Kris Aquino” and that it was her signature naughtiness that was misinterpreted by many people, and so bashing rained over her.
However, Lolit Solis said that it is still up to the people who to choose. “Kung talagang gusto ninyo iboto si Herbert Bautista, why not? Whatever iyon sabihin ni Kris Aquino personal niya, kilala niya dahil naging ex niya. Pero may sarili parin kayong choices,” she said.
The veteran showbiz writer also said that voters still have a choice to vote who their heart’s dictates. “Hayaan na rin natin si Kris Aquino sa choices niya. Basta boto tayo, karapatan natin iyan, huwag natin sayangin,” she added.
Meanwhile, it is apparent that Herbert Bautista is not the only “ex” of Kris Aquino who is in the UniTeam. Her ex-husband PBA player James Yap, who is running for councilor in San Juan, appeared to be in a team supporting the tandem of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte. Kris’s ex-partner veteran actor Phillip Salvador, the father of her first son, is also supporting the UniTeam.
