DUTERTE – A few months ahead of the Elections 2022, Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte tagged those who will aspire for the presidency as “fools”.

The May 2022 Elections include both local and national polls. On May 9, the Filipinos will be voting for the next president, vice president, and senators of the country. The campaign period is ongoing for more than a year now.

The Commission on Election (Comelec) said that there are 10 presidential candidates in the official ballot for the May 2022 Elections. Currently, the presidential bets are on a double-time campaigning and reaching as many Filipinos as they can before the election period is over.

A few months prior to the next election which includes the presidential poll, outgoing Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte made a statement on the people who will aspire for the presidency.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte tagged the presidential aspirants as “fools” during a speech at the inauguration of the Southern Philippine Medical Center’s new cancer institute in Davao City. The 76-year-old Chief Executive also recalled the achievements of his administration.

According to the President, there are times he will get thin and there are also times that he will get fat. He stressed that you will lose your stamina if you are studying all the documents of the Republic of the Philippines from all the provinces and cities.

Based on the report, Pres. Duterte who will be turning 77 years old on Monday also spoke about his sleeping routine. According to him, at 8:00 p.m. before his bedtime, he reviews all the documents that he needs to sign despite the “initial review” done by other people. He expressed that he sleeps around 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. that is why he wakes up at 1:00 p.m.

Previously, the President stressed his excitement to be the outgoing Chief Executive. He affirmed that he has started packing and sending some of his pieces of stuff back in Davao City.
