Cops Arrest ‘Dayo’ For Stabbing Male Resident in Ilocos Sur After Losing Self-Control
A ‘dayo’ suddenly hugged and stabbed a male resident at barangay in Tagudin, Ilocos Sur after he allegedly lost self-control.
The police authorities arrested the 48-year-old suspect identified as Fernando Realin after he stabbed a 39-year-old Arsenio Ader Jr. to death at Barangay Parola. Realin suddenly hugged and stabbed the victim for an unidentified reason.
According to the police investigation, the victim was having a drinking session with his friends when the incident happened. Realin was just a visitor in the area and the two did not have a conflict prior to the incident.
“Ayon sa witness natin, hindi raw kasama sa inuman ang suspek. Biglang lumapit lang daw ‘yung suspek,” Tagudin Police Station chief investigator PCMS. Lorenzo Cariaga said.
The cops arrest the suspect and recovered the knife used on the crime. The victim’s family had no idea regarding the suspect’s motive for the crime. The suspect has also apologized for his gruesome act.
“Wala naman siyang kasalanan, wala naman silang alitan. Sabi ng suspek sa amin, pasensya adding kasi nawala ako sa sarili. Maliliit pa anak niya kaya ang sakit sa amin,” the victim’s sibling Angelica Ader said.
Cariaga said that the police authorties will launch an investigation regarding the incident. “Nagka-conduct tayo ng imbestigasyon doon sa suspek, wala naming sinabing alitan nila sa biktima,” the cop added.
The victim’s family would file charges against Realin. The suspect also refused to give a statement regarding the incident.
