TOM RODRIGUEZ – The Instagram account of the actor with the username @akosimangtomas is missing amid separation rumors with Carla Abellana.
Among the on-screen partners in the Philippine showbiz industry who became real-life lovers are Kapuso stars Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana. The actress has just come from a breakup then when she and the actor were paired for a television series.
Tom and Carla top-billed the hit Kapuso TV series My Destiny. They also worked together as two (2) of the main casts of the GMA-7 TV series My Husband’s Lover. According to the couple, it was then that they started feeling different towards each other.
Collectively called by their fans and supporters “TomCar”, the on-screen partners became real-life lovers. They were in a relationship for more than five (5) years before they officially tied the knot. Their latest project together was the TV series “Love of My Life” which aired before the pandemic and stopped for airing for a while but resumed eventually.
It was last October 23, 2021 when Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana officially tied the knot in a church wedding at San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church in Batangas. The actor is vocal that it was the actress who really took the lead in the wedding preparations.
All the wedding preparations took place amid the pandemic – an extra challenge for Tom and Carla. Meanwhile, everything went well and it led to a beautiful and intimate wedding that left many people more inspired about love.
However, a few months after the wedding, rumors and speculations that Tom and Carla are facing marital issues crossed the surface. The actress’ father, actor Rey “PJ” Abellana, confirmed that the couple is going through some rough patches in their relationship.
Amid the rumored separation of Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana who are both mum on the issues, the actor has seemingly deactivated, deleted, or changed the username of his Instagram account. His IG account with the username @akosimangtomas is currently missing on the social media platform.
