PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (March 22)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Philippines will have a fair weather condition with isolated rainshowers today.
On Tuesday (March 22, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The intertropical convergence zone and the easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Easterlies will be affecting Northern and Central Luzon. Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Palawan and Southern Mindanao.
“Sa araw na ito, dahil sa ITCZ, ang Palawan ay makakaranas ng maulap na kalangitan na may mga kalat-kalat na pag-ulan at thunderstorm. Sa nalalabing bahagi ng Luzon ay magiging maganda at maaliwalas ang panahon na ating mararanasan maliban sa mga biglaang buhos ng ulan dahil sa thunderstorms,” PAGASA said.
The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao and Mt. Province.
The ITCZ will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan. It may bring possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The easterlies / ITCZ will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected during severe thunderstorms.
However, most parts of the country will have a fair weather condition except for isolated rain showers that may still occur due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon, Southern Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will be slight to moderate. The remaining parts of the archipelago will have slight surrounding sea conditions.
