Leni Robredo Slams Netizen’s Claim about Grand Rally in Pasig

Vice Pres. Leni Robredo Reacts to Claim about PasigLaban Rally

LENI ROBREDO – The Vice President and presidential candidate slammed a netizen’s claim about the grand rally in Pasig City.

As the May 2022 Election draws near, the candidates are boosting their efforts to reach as many Filipinos as they can before the campaign period is over. Most of them are doing caravans and motorcades and holding grand rallies in every province they would visit.

Among the grand rallies that took social media platforms by storm are the Leni-Kiko grand rallies. Several provinces including Negros Occidental, Cavite, and Iloilo turned pink during the visit of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

The Leni-Kiko tandem visibly has a lot of volunteers that are doing their own ways of campaigning for the presidential and vice-presidential candidates. They also put in a lot of effort in organizing grand rallies for the visit of the tandem.

Recently, the Leni-Kiko tandem had their grand rally in Pasig. It reportedly gathered thousands of people along Emerald Avenue. The area turned pink during the tandem’s grand rally.

Aside from private individual volunteers of the tandem, several celebrities also offered to participate or perform during the grand rally for free. They also wanted to be part of the “People’s Campaign” for the Vice President and the Senator.

However, following the Pasig campaign rally that took social media platforms by storm and left a lot of “Kakapinks” happy over the event gathering thousands of people, there are several issues and claims made by certain netizens.

One netizen with the username “Ronnie Lamboso Morgan” claimed that a sister of his friend who allegedly attended the grand rally in Pasig City received Php 1,000.00. To this, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo made her reaction through a Facebook post.

The Vice President encouraged his followers on Facebook to help report the said account. She stressed that the “people lined up for so many hours, braving the heat and the crowds” and most of them are the ones who spent for the event. She urged her supporters not to allow others to step on their dignities.
