What’s the story behind the conflict between Kris Aquino and Ai-Ai delas Alas?
Veteran entertainment reporter Cristy Fermin recalled the conflict that happened between celebrities Kris Aquino and Ai-Ai delas Alas in the past.
Kris and Ai-Ai, as many showbiz personalities and fans know, used to call each other BFFs or best friends forever. They were so close before and they even worked together on several projects including their hit movie Sisterakas with Vice Ganda in 2012.
However, their friendship was put to test and in a recent Showbiz Now Na show of Cristy Fermin with Romel Chika and Morly Alinio, they recalled this issue. Cristy said that this happened a long time ago but the issue resurfaced and the real story is unknown to many.
She said that conflict between Kris Aquino and Ai-Ai delas Alas started when the latter shared her friendly advice to the former regarding her marital problem with James Yap back then.
Ai-Ai became Kris’s confidante at that time. The former presidential daughter would share with the Kapuso comedienne the problems she was going through concerning her relationship with the basketball player.
Cristy Fermin said that as a friend and after hearing all Kris’s complaints against James, Ai-Ai said, “BFF, kung hindi ka na masaya sa kaniya, isuli mo na siya sa pamilya niya.”
When Kris and James reconciled, the former said to the latter, “Alam mo, si Ai-Ai, she told me na ibalik na lang kita sa nanay mo.” With this, the basketball player got angry with the Kapuso comedienne and confronted her.
James told Ai-Ai to stop meddling with their problems but the latter reasoned out that it was Kris who would call her and tell her about their marital issues. The Comedy Concert Queen got angry when the basketball player questioned her why she would tell Kris Aquino to return him to his family.
According to Morly, there was a confrontation that happened between Kris and Ai-Ai at a parking lot when they unexpectedly saw each other.
