Pres. Duterte gave this message to his daughter Sara Duterte
Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte received this message of support from her father President Rodrigo Duterte.
The Chief Executive has not officially endorsed any presidential aspirant yet but it is a known fact that his daughter is running for vice president and is the running mate of former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
During the March 18 episode of Willie Revillame’s Wowowin in Cebu, he dedicated a song for Mayor Sara. Before he started singing, the video of Pres. Duterte was flashed on the big screen.
PRRD reminded his daughter to just do good and await her reward that is beyond this lifetime. “Day, be true to your country, work hard for the people. And the rewards I think maybe there, made in heaven – not here. Trabaho ka lang and be good. I love you!” the President said.
While Willie was singing, a slideshow of Inday Sara Duterte’s photos with her father, as well as photos taken during campaign events, was shown.
After the song, the crowd chanted “Duterte” when the vice-presidential candidate went to the center of the stage. Then, she gave her speech thanking her Cebuano supporters. She was also joined by the senatorial candidates of the UniTeam. The Mayor introduced them one by one.
Meanwhile, in a previous report, it was said that the Davao City Mayor has given her last State of the City Address in which she formally said her goodbye to her mayoralty post. Prior to filing for her certificate for candidacy for vice president, she has already filed her COC for reelection. However, her decision has changed just before the deadline. In her last SOCA, she said that she is embracing the opportunity for her to spread her wings wider.
