JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz and his sitcom in GMA is doing well in rating and GMA execs reveal they want him to stay
Crown Artist Management owned by actress-dancer Maja Salvador was the one that welcomed John Lloyd Cruz when he finally decided to return to show business. He is currently doing the sitcom “Happy Together” in GMA and it is doing well in ratings.
In a previous article, reacting to the good ratings of the show, the actress-dancer congratulated the actor who is pretty much very close to her like a brother already. Other stars of the sitcom are Miles Ocampo, Jayson Gainza, Janus del Prado, Carmi Martin, Ashley Rivera, Jenzel Angeles, Vito Quizon, Kleggy Abaya, Leo Bruno, Eric Nicolas, and Wally Waley and it is directed by Bobot Mortiz.
Meanwhile, despite the fact that John Lloyd is now working with GMA, he hasn’t signed an exclusive contract yet. He’s technically under CAM but not officially under the management of the Kapuso network. He said, “Wala akong kontrata with GMA.”
With his program performing well, GMA First VP for Program Management Department Joey Abacan revealed during a virtual mediacon that they want him and they enjoyed having him. During the first anniversary celebration of CAM, Lloydie revealed that he received pitches to do a television series.
Abacan added based on a report from PEP, “Yung Happy ToGetHer is going to have a second season. So, ibig sabihin nun, kasama pa rin namin siya. So, sana… huwag na muna siyang umalis, di ba? I’m sure, ayaw mo rin yun! Gusto mo rin siyang manatiling Kapuso!”
