Ruffa Gutierrez is aware that there are people calling her “bakla”
Actress Ruffa Gutierrez shared her reaction to the “mukhang bakla” comments that she has heard from other people.
Coming from a beautiful showbiz clan, it is no wonder that Ruffa would receive praises for her looks. She even had her beauty pageant stint in the past. However, the daughter of Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama is aware that there are negative comments as well when it comes to her outside appearance.
There are people who would comment that she looks like a gay person. Based on the article in Abante, Ruffa Gutierrez said during a recent episode of It’s Showtime, in which she is one of a segment’s judges, that his kind of comment does not affect her.
The funny conversation started when Vice Ganda asked a contestant how she would respond if someone would say that she looks pregnant. Then, the same question was addressed to Ruffa.
“Hello?! Look at your body first before you say that to me… especially if flat ang tiyan ko like do you need glasses? Sorry I’m just being honest,” the actress shared what she would say to that person.
Then, Ruffa was asked to react to people who would say “mukhang bakla” to her. She said that she has received this kind of comment many times already.
“They always say na mukha akong bakla and I’m like, ‘So? It’s an honor to look gay.’ Mas type kong magmukhang bakla,” Ruffa Gutierrez said but Vice Ganda did not stop his funny questions yet.
The Unkabogable Star asked the former beauty queen if what will be her reaction to a person who will mistakenly consider that she is a man. “Sa laki ng b@#bs ko? I think they really need glasses. I won’t mind them nalang. Hair flip nalang sila,” the actress said.
