Bongbong Marcos Watching Ant-Man When Decided to Run for President
Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr allegedly decided to run for the national highest position because of “Ant-Man”.
Liza said in a YouTube interview with Boy Abunda on Wednesday that Marcos’ decision to run had not yet been made six months ago. Her husband, Marcos Jr., was inspired to run for president by the Marvel film Ant-Man, according to her.

When they saw the film Ant-Man, though, everything changed. Liza claimed that the former senator was a huge fan of Marvel films. While watching, Liza said that her husband told her “‘Okay, we’re gonna do this.’ ‘Do what?’ ‘Run for the presidency.”
Liza expressed her concern after hearing Marcos’ choice, saying she never wants him to be mistreated again. According to his wife, he lost in the vice presidential elections in 2016, which was a very unpleasant experience for him.
Following the confessions of a presidential aspirant’s wife in an interview, the superhero film became a trending topic on Twitter Philippines. Following Araneta-Marcos’ interview, the Marvel superhero “Ant-Man” trended on local Twitter in the “entertainment” category as Filipinos learned more about Marcos’ choice.
Bongbong,Marcos is running for president with Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio, the vice presidential candidate. Former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was deposed in 1986, and Marcos is his son.
