Passenger Boat Rescues Fishing Boat After It Sinks in Northern Samar Due to Heavy Weight of Fish
NORTHERN SAMAR – A fishing boat in Northern Samar reportedly sinks due to the heavy weight of fish caught off the shores.
Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish, which are often caught in the wild but may also be caught from stocked bodies of water. Fish can be caught through different methods such as hand gathering, spearing, netting, angling and trapping.
Fisherfolks usually sells fish in the market right after the harvest to earn money and also to give consumers fresh products.
Fishing is also one of the major livelihoods not only in the Philippines but also in various countries all around the world. However, fishermen should be careful when loading fish into their boats to avoid trouble along the ocean.
Recently, the locals of Northern Samar have a plenty harvest of fish along the shore of San Antonio town. The local fishermen were able to catch a huge amount of dilis or anchovy and load it into the boat.
Unfortunately, the boat failed to carry the heavy load of fish and sunk into the shore. A passenger boat immediately helped the fishermen onboard the fishing boat. The personnel onboard have been rescued.

Luckily, no one got injured during the sea mishap.
