Is Meg Imperial has something to do with the Tom-Carla issue?
Actress Meg Imperial spoke about her alleged involvement in rumored “marital conflict” between Kapuso stars Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana.
For past weeks, the issue that the marriage of Carla and Tom is on the rocks has circulated on social media. This issue even took a higher notch when the Kapuso actress liked the negative comments of netizens against her husband.
Amid the issue, the couple has remained silent. Names of female celebrities were dragged into the issue. It was alleged that former beauty queen Kelley Day is the third party but she denied this.
Now-Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe was also accused of being the other woman but her camp denied this as well. She is now in a relationship with Monty Blencowe.
Another name of a female celebrity surfaced who is being linked to Tom Rodrigues and it is his The Last Five Years movie co-star, Meg Imperial. The actress said that she is aware of the rumors linking her to her leading man, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
Meg also shared that she knows Tom is going through something but she does not want to intervene. On the other hand, she clarified that there is nothing romantic between them aside from the intimate scenes that they did in the movie.
“I have been friends with them, pareho, constant naman yung communication with both of them since they are both part nung platform that I have mentioned to you before, so doon lang yung naging focus ko,” she said.
Meg Imperial also said that she understands the present situation of her leading man and she does not mind promoting their movie even without him. “Naintindihan ko naman kung ano yung pinagdadaanan nila. Ako na muna yung ano, I love this film also, so wala naman sakin kung i-promote ko ito,” the actress said.
