Kim Chiu recalled the shocking experience she had two years ago
It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu pondered on the shooting incident two years ago and that brought her this realization.
In March of 2020, reports about shooting along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon Cityshocked a lot of people. When news broke out, it was more shocking when people learned that it was Kim’s van.
She was on her way to a taping for a show that morning when motorcycle-riding gunmen shot her van multiple times. Fortunately, Kim and her companions were not harmed. Despite that shocking incident, the actress still went to taping.
Kim Chiu recalled that incident through her Instagram Story. “3.4.2020, [two] years ago… my guardian angel saved me. That day, the Holy Spirit showed me that miracles do happen. It’s hard to explain but it just happened,” she wrote.
With what happened, the actress said that she always be grateful. She also said she still has a purpose to fulfill. “Thank you Lord God for the gift of life. I am forever thankful that I know my purpose in this world is not yet over,” she said.
Then, in her next post, Kim showed how she is clinging to her faith. “Walk by faith. Good night everyone. Live each day with a grateful heart,” the actress said.
Meanwhile, Kim Chiu expressed “gulat” when her post about the TikTok research that she did to understand the conflict between Ukraine and Russia become a showbiz news headline. For the actress, it was just a simple post to update her social media followers without expecting it to become a viral topic. The said post of the Chinita Princess trended on social media again.
