Gerald Anderson is a competitive actor
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson admitted that when it comes to his profession, he is very competitive.
Gerald, from the time he joined the reality show Pinoy Big Brother, was able to pave his way to stardom. He has already done several TV shows and movies that boosted his popularity.
The actor renewed his contract with ABS-CBN just recently and with this, it is expected that he will do more projects. In the entertainment industry in the Philippines, more and more aspiring actors and actresses are trying to chase their dreams.
With this, competitions are inevitable. As an actor, Gerald Anderson admitted that he is very competitive. “Personally medyo competitive ako na tao eh. I’m very competitive and kaya rin ako nakatagal ng 16 years sa industriya na ito is because of that trait,” he said.
Gerald acknowledges the fact that limited shows are being created nowadays but more and more artists are joining the industry. Because of this, artists are fighting for roles.
“Competitive kami sa isa’t isa. We’re in a very competitive industry and when you get to find friends and mga contemporaries mo na kausap mo about life, kung anong status mo ngayon sa buhay, kung anong pinagdadaanan naming,” the actor shared.
On the other hand, Gerald Anderson said that his own self is his biggest competitor. “Isa sa pinaka-natutunan ko over the years is sarili mo talaga yung biggest competitor mo,” he shared.
Meanwhile, Gerald expressed gratitude for the opportunities that are given to him by his home network for almost two decades now. Amid the pandemic and the franchise renewal issue, the actor chooses to stay.
