What was the reaction of Sara Duterte to the “coward” tag from Walden Bello?
Vice presidential aspirant Walden Bello called his opponent Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte a coward for not attending the CNN Philippines’ presidential and vice presidential debate.
On February 27, the media entity in the country organized a debate for politicians running for the two highest positions in the Philippine government.
However, Mayor Sara and her running mate former Senator Bongbong Marcos declined to join the debate. It is known to many that the bets of the UniTeam have been declined other political events as well, like this one.
Because of the absence of Mayor Sara Duterte and Bongbong Marcos in a recently concluded CNN Philippines debate, Walden Bello called the UniTeam “coward.”
“I am terribly sorry that Mayor Duterte is not here to face the people. She is a coward like Bongbong Marcos. She is a f**king coward,” the running mate of labor leader Leody de Guzman.
Based on the report, the reaction of the presidential daughter to this was, “no comment.”

In his ending statement during the debate, Walden Bello slammed the BBM-Sara tandem. He said that the tandem is afraid to reveal themselves in this kind of debate because they have no program for the country at all.
Bello also called Marcos and Duterte, “these two [email protected]” The question for this part was “Are you ready to assume the presidency should an emergency happen?”
The vice presidential candidate said that he is ready to assume but the rest of his answer was his effort to air his dismay over Sara Duterte and Bongbong Marcos’ absence.
