Kakampinks Canceled Silent Sanctuary for Supporting Marcos-Duterte

Famous Filipino band Silent Sanctuary got canceled by the supporters of Leni Robredo or Kakampinks for supporting the Marcos-Duterte tandem.

Supporters of presidential candidate and Vice President Leni Robredo have once again proven their elitism by bashing the Rock Band on Facebook. This, after learning that the band will perform at the UniTeam Unity Concert hosted by Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, they decided to take action.

Silent Sanctuary’s Facebook post did not specify that they would be performing at the Unity Concert; instead, they just committed to jam with their fans. On February 27, they will meet their fans in Saint Vincent Ferrer Prayer Park in Bayambang, Pangasinan, according to their post.

“North peeps!!! Gusto nyo bang tumalon tumalon sa saya? Hahaha. Magkita kita tayong lahat sa Saint Vincent Ferrer Prayer Park sa Bayambang, Pangasinan on February 27, Sunday. Makisaya at maki-jam ulit samin! Let’s G!,”  said Silent Sanctuary in their post.

The UniTeam Unity Concert is also set to take place on Sunday, February 27 at the Saint Vincent Ferrer Prayer Park in Bayambang, Pangasinan, according to the poster and video posted on the BBM-Sara Uniteam FB page by Mayor Cezar Quiambao. Silent Sanctuary, Aegis, and Avant Music are shown on the poster.

Apart from playing at the event, several netizens expressed their dissatisfaction in the form of remarks. According to Kakampinks, the band does not appear to be clear about who or what they will perform.
