Lauren Dyogi said this about former Kapamilya stars
Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi was asked if ABS-CBN will still give a spot for artists who left the network and transferred to other networks.
The talent manager firm of the Kapamilya network renewed contracts with several stars on February 23. During the interview, Direk Lauren said that the management wants to focus on artists who remained to be Kapamilya.
“Unang-una, I would always respect the decision of every individual kasi hindi ko naman hawak iyong buhay ng bawat isa sa kanila,” he said when asked if the network will still allot spots for those who left.
Lauren Dyogi stressed that they cannot blame those who made decisions based on the circumstances in their lives. “But I also like to say na para sa akin, mas importante iyong mga kasama ko ngayon dito,” the Star Magic head said.
He added that he does not want to spend his time and energy on those artists who decided to transfer to other networks. “I’d like to pour my energy and my focus and my love to the ones who are here kasi iyon naman ang importante, e, iyong kasama mo ngayon sa hirap at ginhawa,” Direk Lauren stressed.
The TV executive also said that losing their franchise made them see those artists who value the bond that they have with the network. On the other hand, he did not give a final statement regarding those who might come back to ABS-CBN after they left.
“In the future, I can’t say. Sino ba tayo? We don’t know what the future [is], what’s there. Maliit lang naman ang industriya ng entertainment, so hindi ako magsasalita nang tapos na it’s for good na never ulit magkakasama, di ba?” Lauren Dyogi said. However, he reiterated that ABS-CBN values those who chose to stay.
