Last February 20, 2020, couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli tied the knot in a Christian ceremony attended by Matteo’s family and select friends. The supposed to be a secret wedding made headlines the next day after Sarah’s mom Divine showed up and made a scene – a “Divine Intervention”.
In a previous article, the Popstar singer shared that being a wife for her is both challenging and rewarding. She is taking it as a great blessing as she gets to spend her life with the person that she loves. She expressed, “You get to choose and decide for yourself, not just for yourself, pero ngayon, dahil may asawa ka na, for the both of you, parang you become one, as one na kayo.”
And now, as they celebrate the second blissful year of their marriage, the actor penned a short but sweet message for his superstar wife. He said in his post, “Through thick and thin and all the ups and downs, we will be partners for life. I love you my beautiful wife! You’re the best.”
Many celebrities expressed love and happiness in this milestone of their relationship. Angel Locsin left a red heart emoji in the comment section while Vice Ganda wrote, “Happy happy forever and ever amen!“
Alex Gonzaga, Tim Yap, Miles Ocampo, Isabelle Daza, and Liz Uy are among the famous personalities who also greeted them on their anniversary.
Meanwhile, after their marriage, the couple kept their relationship low-key but occasionally share videos of their life through Matteo’s vlogs and Instagram posts. The last project they did together was a joint Christmas concert in December 2021.
