Police Authorities Belied Alleged ‘Zombie Attack’ in Valencia, Bukidnon
The police authorities clarified the alleged “zombie attack” in Valencia, Bukidnon after a male victim claimed that he was a victim of the incident.
Last week, a woman named Kristine Baylon reported that a male victim identified as Anthony Arenas has been attacked by an alleged zombie and tried to suck its blood. The suspect has been identified as Carl Clinton Colinas.
Arenas revealed that Colinas who was undressed during that time suddenly attacked him for an unknown reason. The victim tried to escape but the suspect is fast enough to corner and lure him.
Colinas reportedly bites Arenas and tried to gauge the eye of his victim. The poor guy lost its consciousness for two minutes and witnessed Arenas trying to suck his blood after his senses returned.
Luckily, the victim was able to escape and seek help from other people around the area. However, the suspect denied the accusations against him and belied the claims that he was a ‘zombie’.
The suspect admitted that he was drunk during that time after having a feud with his wife. Currently, he is under the custody of the police authorities.
Valencia City Police Station Lt. Pablo Jugos Jr. urged the online community to be responsible when sharing information on social media to avoid spread of false information online.

“Nag-viral sa social media kamakailan ang umanoy “zombie attack” dahil sa naitalang pangangagat ng isang lalaki sa biktimang lalaki rin. Sinipsip pa raw kasi ng suspek ang dugo ng biktima at tsaka tinusok rin ng suspek ang mga mata nito.
Nilinaw naman ng pulisya na ang kumakalat na impormasyon ng Zombie attack sa Bukidnon ay insidente lang ng physical assault.
Nasa kustudiya na ng pulisya ang suspek na kinilalang si Carl Clinton Colinas, 25-anyos at pinabulaanan din ng pulisya na walang pag-atake ng zombie sa Pilipinas.”
