The cops believed that the girl’s parents Kirk Shultis Jr. and Kimberly Cooper kidnapped her. The police said that the couple did not have custody of the child.

The police authorities received a report regarding the girl’s situation and quickly processed a search warrant. The officers found the girl at a makeshift room underneath a closed staircase leading to the basement at her grandfather’s house.

The police removed the step boards and found the girl and her mother Kimberly were found hiding at a dark enclosure. The cops examined the girl and set to turn over her to her legal guardian.

The girl’s parents and her grandfather Kirk Shultis have been arrested and would face charges of custodial interference and endangering child’s welfare.

The kid’s father repeatedly stated that he doesn’t know the girl’s location and not seen the child during interrogation.
