Kim Chiu is proud of what she went through because of “Bawal Lumabas”
Chinita Princess Kim Chiu said that she would proudly tell her future kids and grandkids what happened to her life because of her controversial “bawal lumabas” statement.
To recall, the said statement of Kim was done she poured her emotion following the shutting down of ABS-CBN. It went viral and the It’s Showtime host received negative feedback.
Despite that negative effect on her, Kim’s “bawal lumabas” also has done positive things for her. She was able to release a song about this and create merchandise. Amid what she went through, based on the article in Inquirer, Kim Chiu said that she did not dwell on the bad aspect.
“I didn’t let negative life experiences defeat me, although they almost did. Years from now, I will recall this time in my life as a story of victory because I did not allow bad things that were said about me to affect me emotionally,” she said.
She acknowledges the fact that she would not be able to make it without the help of the people around her. “There were good people who offered their shoulders for me to cry on. When you’re already feeling helpless, God will always send someone to lift you up,” she said.
The actress also stressed that she will proudly tell this story, about her traumatic experience, to her future kids and grandkids.
Meanwhile, Kim Chiu said that she hopes her home network will bounce back. She said that she will forever be grateful to ABS-CBN because the network opened the door of opportunities for her in show business. This is the reason why transferring to other networks and leaving her home network did not enter her mind.
