The engineering students created trash collecting bicycle for their thesis with the aim to reduce the garbage pollution.

A Facebook user named Wis Altez has shared the photos of their thesis material that can collect trash to reduce the garbage pollution in the country. The project goes viral online and earn praises and admirations from the netizens.

Altez proudly presents the initial sketch of their thesis as well as the solid works designs to working prototype. He boasted the hard work of his groupmates just to turn their vision into reality.

Louise who is a graduating engineering student together with his groupmate designed a bicycle that will make the work of street sweeper easier and faster. The pedal operated road sweeper can gather and collect solid wastes.

The project is environment friendly because it is made of recycled materials. The group is about to graduate from the Technological Institute of the Philippines in Quezon City. The group came up with the idea amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

The student together with his friends CJ, Dennis, and Jasper made the idea after bicycles became a trend amid the coronavirus pandemic. They have also witnessed the sacrifices of street sweepers just to clean the environment.

Hanggang ngayon di paren ako makapaniwala na asa TV yung thesis namen. Sobrang saya ko na nung umabot sa 18k shares yung post ko pero yung maifeature pa sa GMA eh sobra sobrang pasalamat na kami….

Salamat sa groupmates ko na sama sama magpuyat at gumawa ng design kahit pa mga working students at tambak ng school works, Sa adviser namen na si engr. Bote salamat sa guidance all through out sa aming thesis, Sa pamilya ko at sa Gf ko salamat sa suporta noong una palang at iniintindi ang di ko pagtulog hahaha. At salamat Lord sa opportunity na to, tiyak na hindi ko to malilimutan, I am forever humbled…
