Here’s what Lian Paz said about her partner
Former EB (Eat Bulaga) Babe Lian Paz talked about her relationship with her non-showbiz partner John Cabahug.
Lian and John have been together as a couple for 9 years now. Their connection with each other started when John asked Lian to be an endorser of their family business. At that time, John already had a crush on Lian, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
“Pinuntahan ko siya (sa Manila), malaki pa yung issue nila before. Sabi ko, baka ma-issue tayo, business lang ‘to (laughs),” the businessman said. To recall, at that time, Lian was dealing with her controversial breakup with former partner Paolo Contis.
Their business partnership bloomed into something more intimate. John revealed that back then, Lian used to break up with him all time because she thought she was weak because of what happened to her past relationship.
With all the good things that John Cabahug has done, Lian Paz said that she would think that she does not deserve someone like him in her life.
“Minsan sinasabi ko, di ko siya deserve kasi ang bait niya, loving and he’s a bachelor, so, bakit ako? Then, I would see my two angels, ah, there’s a reason and purpose why he came into our life. Baka naman I’ve done something good in my life to deserve someone like him,” the former actress said.
The way that John convinced Lian to stay in Cebu was also full of compassion. He asked the former actress was she really likes to do and she said, “I want to be a chef.” John sponsored the education of Lian. “Ako na bahala sa lahat, sa mga bata mo, sa bahay mo sa Manila, basta punta ka lang sa Cebu at mag-aral sa gusto mo,” he said.
Last year, John Cabahug proposed to Lian Paz and he is willing to wait for the time when the latter’s previous marriage will be annulled. John also plans to adopt the children of Lian.
