Lian Paz said this about her annulment case with Paolo Contis
Former dancer Lian Paz was asked about her estranged husband actor Paolo Contis amid the latter’s breakup with longtime partner actress LJ Reyes.
In the midst of the controversies brought by Paolo and LJ’s split, showbiz fans are recalling what happened between the actor and his former partner.
A past interview of Lian resurfaced on social media as she talked about her separation with the Bubble Gang actor. There were even those who talked about the alleged similarities that happened to Lian and LJ when their relationship wth Paolo ended.
To recall, Lian Paz and Paolo Contis separated in bad terms. In a past statement, the former dancer even stressed that Xonia and Xalene are her daughters only, apparently, denying the “father” term for the actor.
Lian also had a post in the past saying that she was able to send her kids to school as a single parent and she was happy that her current partner John Cabahug shouldered their finances when they became together.
In line with the recent Paolo Contis-LJ Reyes issue, Lian Paz was asked to react to this. Based on the article by entertainment columnist Salve Asis in Pang-Masa, the former actresses avoided answering questions aside from one.
The former dancer said that her annulment case with Paolo is still ongoing but she said that her current partner has already proposed to her.
“Hindi pa tapos ang annulment namin with Paolo. But John proposed and sabi niya nga, What is delayed is not denied, papel lang daw yun. Kasal na daw kami hehehehe,” Lian shared. Regarding Paolo, she said that she does not want to get involved with the issue anymore as she is living a quiet life now in Cebu with John.
“God is so powerful Miss Salve. He is mighty! He is so loving. Sobra yung heart ko. Ang sarap magmahal ng Diyos. Dati kasi parang ako pa ang may kasalanan. Grabe ang batikos sa akin kahit sobrang sakit at hirap ng dinaanan ko. Kaya i chose a quiet life, left showbiz and move on sa buhay ko with the kids. If that did not happen to me, probably i wont meet John,” the former dancer added.
