Here’s what Korina Sanchez about her post that went controversial

Magazine show host Korina Sanchez spoke about her now-deleted “sadya akong pinagpala” that received criticisms online.

Korina is one of the fortunate TV hosts whose show continues to air even amid the pandemic. Through her social media posts, she has been sharing the places she has visited for her show however, one of her recent posts, that was deleted, did not sit well with many netizens.

The said post of Korina was considered by many netizens as “insensitive”. In her Instagram post that was also deleted, she pointed out that she has been going to different places but she never got infected.

The Rated Korina host said that perhaps she’s fortunate because she is helping other people. Due the her original caption, her name became a trending topic on Twitter as many netizens bashed her.

After deleting that controversial post, Korina replaced it with this caption: “Thank you Lord. So many sick and infected. Ive never been positive—- even as Im all over for work I have to do. Frontliner pa ako ngayon sa househelp and driver ko. Help me help others through this pandemic. Kaya natin ito.”


Although she already deleted her controversial post and posted a new post with a new caption, several netizens still bashed Korina Sanchez. There was even one netizen who wanted to start a boycott campaign against her magazine show.

One of the netizens who commented on this new post of Korina said that it was a good thing that she deleted the previous one.

The seasoned broadcaster said that it was a “miscalculation”. “Miscalculation of words in caption. This is what I meant,” she said.
