Female Passenger Goes Viral For Giving Birth to Child at Public Boat in the Middle of the Sea
BURDEOS, Quezon – A female passenger gives birth to her child at a public boat in the coastal area of Burdeos, Quezon.
A Facebook user named Jomar Encina has shared the video footage of a lady passenger who gives birth to her first child while riding a public boat. The video goes viral and garnered reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that several passengers were assisting the pregnant woman identified as Eljane Perez to give birth. The woman successfully gives birth to a healthy baby boy.
According to Encina, Eljane and her husband Romnick Perez is heading at the health center in the town of Burdeos before her due date. The couple reportedly came from the island barangay of Carlagan.
However, Eljane gives birth to her child in the middle of the sea. Luckily, one passenger has midwifery knowledge and assisted the pregnant lady to give birth. Other passengers even helped the woman.
Romnick has also expressed his gratitude towards the passengers who helped his beloved wife. The baby has been named Prince Giomar Perez.
The residents of Barangay Carlagan are calling the attention of the local government to provide a midwife and health center in their village.
The incident proves that the spirit of Bayanihan and unity remains alive among Filipino people. This trait has been already a trademark of the Filipinos especially during the time of calamity.
