Jasmine Curtis-Smith Posts Heartfelt Gratitude as The World Between Us Ends
JASMINE CURTIS-SMITH – The Kapuso actress expressed her gratitude as she announced the signing off of “The World Between Us”.
The GMA-7 primetime romance-drama television series The World Between Us recently aired its final episode. It was top-billed by Kapuso stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Alden Richards, and Tom Rodriguez.
Tom and Jasmine played the character of half-siblings Brian and Lia Libradilla. Growing up, he was not aware that he’s not a biological son of their mother, Rachelle Libradilla. He was always yearning for the kind of love that their mom has for Lia.
Alden played the character of Louie Asuncion, an orphan boy who has an enormous intelligence over technology. When her mother died, Rachelle took the part of being his guardian and welcomed him into her home.
Brian, Lia, and Louie grew up close to each other but Brian started to develop envy towards Louie for the recognition he gets from Rachelle. He went against the romantic feelings that Lia and Louie have for each other. A lot of things happened – Rachelle brought Brian and Lia to the U.S., Louie was left and strived to finish school, Rachelle died and Louie was charged with the crime he did not do, Lia got married to Eric Carlos, and Louie was released from prison.
The name of Louie was cleared and Lia finally found out about the connivance between Brian and Eric to plot Louie into the crime he did not do. It was found out that it was really Eric who killed Rachelle. However, he was able to take Lia and hurt her. Louie found her almost lifeless in an unfinished building.
Meanwhile, finally, there was a happily-ever-after in the love story of Louie and Lia as she woke up from a comatose state. Eric was killed by Brian who took all the charges without mentioning the presence of Louie when it happened. Lia forgave Brian and he entrusted his younger sister to Louie.
In an Instagram post, Jasmine Curtis-Smith expressed her gratitude over The World Between Us. She posted a short clip of their photos and videos during its making and, in her caption, she thanked the people behind the TV series and as well as the fans and supporters, the Betweeners.
