Sandara Park ‘s Christmas Wish Is To ‘Go Back To Philippines & Be Onstage Again’
SANDARA PARK – Pure Korean and a K-pop phenomenon Sandara Park said her Christmas wish is to be able to return to the Philippines.
South Korean singer-actress Sandara Park a.k.a. Dara lived in the Philippines for 11 years. She rose to stardom after participating in the first season of ABS-CBN’s reality-based talent competition Star Circle Quest.
In 2007, Dara left the Philippine entertainment business and return to Korea for good. She eventually became part of K-pop group 2NE1.
2NE1 performed in the Philippines last 2014 as part of their ‘All or Nothing’ world tour. Dara enjoyed popularity with numerous hits like ‘Fire,’ ‘Come Back Home,’ and ‘I Don’t Care.’ The K-pop group disbanded in 2016.
Dara has been forging a career as a singer, actress, and tv personality. No matter how popular she has gotten in Korea and all over the world, she never forgets about her roots in the Philippines.
The last time she was in the country was in 2019. She celebrated her 35th birthday in Bohol. She also reunited with her SCQ co-finalists Raphael Martinez and Joross Gamboa.

Recently, Sandara Park took to Twitter to share just how much she misses the Philippines. She wished to be home in the Philippines to perform for her Pinoy fans this Christmas season. She also shared several selfies where she can be seen making the finger heart sing in one photo.
“2 yrs na ako hindi nakapunta sa phil. Kelan ba last show ko sa Phil?! Parang d ko na naalala and mga shows ngayon puro untact.”
“Ang xmas wish ko is to go back to Phil and be onstage again with u guys.”
