PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (December 27)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the shearline will bring cloudy to rainy conditions over NCR and 10 other areas.
On Monday (December 27, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The shearline will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA said that the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, and the provinces of Aklan, Capiz, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as Aurora province.
Provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Abra and Benguet as well as Caraga, Davao de Oro, and Davao Oriental will experience similar weather condition.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over the rest of the Visayas, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Pangasinan due to the northeast monsoon.
The localized thunderstorms will bring the same weather condition over the rest of Mindanao.
The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas of possible flash floods or landslides during times of moderate to heavy rains. The remaining parts of the country may experience possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
PAGASA has also raised a gale warning in the following areas.

- Ilocos Sur
- La Union
- Pangasinan
- Zambales
- Aurora
- eastern coast of Quezon
- Camarines Norte
- northern and eastern coasts of Camarines Sur
- Catanduanes
- eastern coast of Albay
- eastern coast of Sorsogon
- northern and eastern coasts of Northern Samar
- eastern coast of Eastern Samar
- eastern coast of Dinagat
- eastern coast of Surigao del Norte
- Surigao del Sur
