The rider who found the missing bride received this accusation
Rodel Cyrus Dela Rosa, the rider who found the missing bride, Sherra de Juan, spoke about how he found her.
Sherra went missing four days before she tied the knot with her fiance Mark Arjay Reyes, who immediately reported the incident to the authorities.
Several speculations surfaced regarding Sherra’s disappearance. Reportedly, she was going through financial problems with her own family. Her fiancé even became a person of interest at one point.
A speculation also surfaced that the missing bride was connected to the death of former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Undersecretary Catalina Cabral.
Before the end of 2025, the missing bride was found. Sherra de Juan reunited with her family. She was found in Pangasinan. Based on the article in Bandera, rider Rodel Cyrus Dela Rosa narrated to KMJS how he found Sherra.
“Hindi ko po siya napansin do’n. Bale nakayuko po kasi ako, tumitingin sa collection list ko po. Hawak ko ‘yong cellphone ko. Biglang nasa gild ko po. Then, umiiyak na nagmamakaawa na humihingi ng tulong,” Rodel said.
He shared that Sherra looked so pitiful, and she was a bit disoriented, but she just wanted to go home.
The rider asked her where she was from, and she said that she was from Quezon City. “Tinanong ko rin po kung anong pangalan ng kasintahan niya. Sinabi niya si Mark Arjay Reyes. Kaya sinearch ko po ‘yon. Doon ko po nalaman. Sabi ko po, ‘viral ka na po, ma’am,’” the rider shared.
Then, Rodel asked Sherra if she wanted to go to the police station or to go first to his in-laws’ house to fix herself and eat, and she chose the latter.
“Nu’ng pagkatapos niya pong kumain, pinahiram ko ‘yung cellphone ko po. Umiyak na siya. Nag-iyakan sila,” Rodel shared.
The rider denied the allegations from netizens that he was an accomplice to Sherra’s disappearance. He also stressed that he did not receive a reward for helping the missing bride to be home with her family.
