What’s in store for Julia Barretto next year?
Actress Julia Barretto talked about the things that she is expecting to happen in 2022 when it comes to her career in showbiz.
Julia started her showbiz journey at a young age. Coming from one of the famous showbiz clans in the Philippines, it was not quite surprising that she would also find her own star in the industry. This year, despite the pandemic, Julia has done many projects.
Aside from her series on TV5 titled Di Na Muli, Julia did two movies also. She is featured in the movie Expensive Candy opposite Carlo Aquino and this is directed by Paul Laxamana. Based on the article in Inquirer, Julia Barretto shared a few details about this movie.
“It’s unlike any other films I have done. It’s about a s=× worker and a public school teacher who falls in love with each other. I don’t want to spoil too much, but that’s where the story revolves,” the actress shared noting that they have just finished their lock-in taping for this project.
The other movie that she shot this year was Bahay Na Pula with Xian Lim. Julia felt so honoured being directed by internationally renowned director Brillante Mendoza. With these wonderful projects,
Julia shared that her love for doing films was reignited and she hopes this will continue in 2022. “I just feel so inspired and motivated again. This is all I want to do next year,” she said.
When it comes to her personal life, Julia Barretto is simply at peace. “I’m happy and thankful for the people around me. There’s a lot of calm and peace in me,” the actress said adding that she has been praying for this for two years.
Meanwhile, the actress shared that every time she feels stressed and tired, she is just counting her blessings and her mood will easily light up. For her, counting the things she is grateful for takes away whatever negativity that enters her life.
