This is what John Lloyd Cruz said about his new sitcom character
Kapuso A-lsit actor John Lloyd Cruz talked about his character in his new sitcom ‘Happy ToGetHer’ that is set to premier on December 26.
Lloydie officially signed a contract with GMA last December and the network in line producing his new show after three years of being away from the spotlight. Now that he is officially back, fans are getting excited to see his charm once again onscreen.
Based on the article in GMA Network, during a recent interview, John Lloyd Cruz was asked if his character has similarities with his personality in real life. He said that he can’t really identify the percentage of the similarities.
“Mahirap sukatin kung ilang porsyento, ‘di ba sa konteksto sa paggawa ng character ‘yung ilang porsyento ‘yung ikaw o ilang porsyento ‘yung fictionalize,” the A-list actor said.
John Lloyd Cruz added that every taping day is a learning process for him and this is a good thing. With this, he can relate the things happening during the taping on what has happened in him in real life. There are also things that he could equip him in whatever will happen in the future.
The actor also attributed the learning process to the creative help in the leadership of Direk Bobot Mortiz. “Sa tulong at sa gabay ng mga writers namin headed by Sherwin and si Direk Bobot na rin ‘yung experience nabubuo habang ginagawa, so sa akin, hindi ko iintindihin kung gaano or ilang porsyento ba ‘yung ako or hindi ako,” he shared.
John Lloyd Cruz also said that the best thing for him is the opportunity to learn something and this makes him feel fulfilled.
Happy ToGetHer also features Carmi Martin, Ashley Rivera, Jenzel Angeles, Jason Gainza, Vito Quizon, Miles Ocampo, Leo Bruno, Kleggy Abaya, Wally Waley, Eric Nicolas, and Janus del Prado.
