Who is the “ultimate leading lady” John Lloyd Cruz?
Kapuso A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz was asked if who his “ultimate leading lady” is and here is his honest answer.
In his more than two decades of being an actor, Lloydie was already paired with different leading ladies on TV and in movies. He has a reputation of being one of the most sought-after leading men in the Philippine entertainment industry.
This year, the A-list actor is officially back after taking a step back. Through his new sitcom on GMA-7, he will once again bring “kilig” and excitement to his fans. In the sitcom Happy ToGetHer, it was previously mentioned that Lloydie will not have a leading lady but his character is a single father.
In a recent interview in the Kapuso morning show Unang Hirit, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, John Lloyd Cruz received this question: “Who is your ultimate leading lady?”
Apparently, he found this question difficult to answer. “Mahirap na sigurong magsabi ng isang pangalan when you say ‘ultimate leading lady. Lahat sila may angking husay talino at galling,” the actor said. Then, Lloydie said that he thinks that his co-star in Happy ToGetHer is his “ultimate leading lady”.
“Tingin ko ang talagang ultimate leading lady ngayon si Miles Ocampo eh,” he said. John Lloyd added with a smile, “Tingin ko, pagaagawan ng mga ultimate leading men sa kanilang generation.”
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, John Lloyd Cruz expressed that he is open to the possibility of sharing the same frame with veteran comedian Bossing Vic Sotto. He also said that it would be great if there is a sitcom crossover. Vic is the lead actor in the Kapuso top-rating sitcom Daddy’s Gurl with Maine Mendoza.
