Gladys Reyes and Coco Martin work together on this project for the first time
Prominent actress Gladys Reyes revealed things about Ang Probinsyano actor Coco Martin as they had the chance to work together in a movie.
Gladys has proven her caliber in acting since she was young through her soap opera Mara Clara with Judy Ann Santos. Over the years, she has done different roles already and she is now exploring her comedic side in the sitcom Pepito Manaloto.
Aside from her TV appearances, Gladys is currently doing a movie directed by internationally-acclaimed director Brillante Mendoza. This movie is titled Apag (Hapag) and also features Coco Martin.
For the first time, Gladys Reyes had the chance to work with Direk Brillante and Coco and she is excited about this film. The actress shared a post taken during their first day of shooting and she shared good words about the Kapamilya actor.
“Enjoyed talking to Coco and hearing stories from him in between takes. I admire how humble and hardworking he is. Looking forward to our next shooting days. Grateful to you Lord for this,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
Based on the article by Pilipino Star Ngayon entertainment columnist Gorgy Rula, Coco Martin was not the first choice for this film but the actor who was supposed to be in this project backed out.
For Gladys, this opportunity is something to be grabbed as she has been aspiring to work with Direk Brillante. She even shared that she immediately accepted the offer without knowing the talent fee that she would get from this project.
When Rula asked the actress how the shooting was, Gladys Reyes once again shared her words of praises for Coco Martin. “Super tsika kami ni Coco kuya. Lalo na siya, kakatuwa. Walang kaere-ere. Marespeto. First time namin nagkasama at magka-work. Pero parang ang tagal na namin magkakilala,” she shared.
