Vice Ganda Donates Talent Fee For Victims Of Typhoon Odette

For the victims of Typhoon Odette, Vice Ganda vows to donate his one-day talent fee.

VICE GANDA – Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda calls for help and donations for the victims of Typhoon Odette, initiates donations by giving away his talent fee.

Typhoon Odette has badly beaten numerous areas in Visayas and Mindanao. Several donations drives have been done already and among those who opened their arms to receive various forms of donations is ABS-CBN’s Sagip Kapamilya. The organization will be the one to hand out donations to the victims of the strong typhoon.

In the December 21 episode of Its Showtime, they shared how people can send and share their donations and Vice Ganda, one of the main hosts, shared several ways how people can give their donations – in-kind or through cash. He called out to people about the situations of areas severely hit by Odette.

The comedian expressed, “Wag nating kalimutan na may mga nangangailangan na mga Kapamilya natin ng tulong na mga nabiktima ng bagyong Odette sa Cebu, sa Siargao, at sa napakaraming lugar sa Pilipinas. Kaya sana magtulong-tulong po tayo, kailangan po tayo ng mga kababayan natin.”

And initiating the movement, Vice vowed to give his talent fee for that day. He said, “At bilang panimula, yung TF (talent fee) ko ngayong araw ibibigay ko sa Sagip Kapamilya para sa mga Kapamilya natin,” and added urging and encouraging his co-hosts by asking them, “Sinong gustong sumunod?”

Meanwhile, as several cities in the country got badly beaten by Odette, world leaders and international organizations promise aid for rehabilitation. Apart from the destruction, the typhoon also left many residents displaced after losing their homes. Odette, at its peak, had maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h, and Signal No. 4 was the highest wind signal raised during the onslaught of the typhoon. It destroyed homes, uprooted trees, and toppled power lines.
