Here’s Jodi Sta Maria and other casts in the official trailer of “The Broken Marriage Vow”.
JODI STA MARIA – ABS-CBN has finally dropped the official trailer of the much-awaited adapted series “The Broken Marriage Vow”.
South Korea’s record-breaking series The World of a Married Couple and BBC’s original hit Doctor Foster is having a Philippine adaptation and it is called “The Broken Marriage Vow“. The main casts are:
- Jodi Sta. Maria as Dr. Jill Ilustre (Dr. Gemma Foster in the original)
- Zanjoe Marudo as David Ilustre (Simon Foster in the original)
- Sue Ramirez as Lexy Lucero (Kate Parks in the original)
- Zaijian Jaranilla as Gio Ilustre (Tom Foster in the original)
A teaser has been released previously but this December 15, the official trailer has been dropped finally. It will air on Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC. The series is set to air in January 2022 and in the official trailer, Jodi has impressed the viewers with her performance. Her seething anger as a woman scorned has been applauded by the people.
The betrayal and the discovery of her husband’s affair have led Dr. Jill into a spiral of paranoia and destructive behavior. The three-minute trailer showed how a happy family gets ruined gradually as Dr. Jill unraveled the little hints of cheating until she had it confirmed.
It started with a single strand of blonde hair from his scarf until the lip gloss she found in his pocket. Having hunches, she did her own investigation and that’s where her fixation started. She tracked David’s whereabouts and doubts everyone around them until she got a hold of his “other” phone where she saw everything.
Photos with his other woman were stored in his other phone and some of it included some captures with their close circle. The betrayal came not only from her husband but also from her closest friends who are in on the affair and are actively keeping it from her.
Menacingly declaring with pure rage, she expressed, “Simula sa araw na ‘to, ako ang magsasabi kung kailan, saan, at kung paano ko ito tatapusin.”
