MISS UNIVERSE 2021 – Meet the Top 10 candidates of the prestigious 69th Miss Universe pageant making a step closer to the crown.
Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza of Mexico will be passing her crown to her successor in this year’s 70th edition of the pageant. There were already early favorites among the candidates and the countries that joined are all cheering for their own representative.
The Pinay representative we have is crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez. She did well all throughout the pageant. Steve Harvey hosted the event, his 6th time to host the competition after missing the previous year’s pageant. Despite the ongoing pandemic and the threat of the new variant, this event has been pushed through. Rules and regulations were strictly followed for the safety of everyone in the competition.
For this year, the pageant was held at the city of Eilat in Israel.

This year’s members of the selection committee are Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima, Indian actress and Miss Diva Universe 2015 Urvashi Rautela, Steve Harvey’s daughter Lori Harvey, crowned Miss Universe 2016 and French model Iris Mittenaere, Puerto Rican actress Adamari Lopez, Emmy award-winning actress Rena Sofer, Pinay actress and entrepreneur Marian Rivera, Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst, and Miss Universe 1976 Rina Mor.
