According to Karla Estrada, after a few months since she was born on November 21, 1974, her biological father arrived at their house but her maternal grandfather does not want her parents to be together anymore. He told him that Karla died.
Karla further shared that her father left and thought all his life that he has no child. When asked if her mother knows about what her grandfather told her biological father, the Magandang Buhay host answered in the affirmative. The actress-singer said that she really grew up living like an ordinary child playing in the streets and “very tough and boyish” because the absence of her father was filled by all her uncles and the cousins of her mother.
