PAGASA Says Shear Line to Affect PH Weather Condition
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the shear Line would bring cloudy to rainy condition over parts of Visayas and Mindanao.
On Thursday (December 9, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update. The shear line will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the shear line will be affecting eastern section of Visayas while Northeast Monsoon will be affecting Luzon.
The shear line will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected over Eastern Visayas and the northern portion of Cebu and Negros Occidental as well as the rest of Visayas.
Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Aurora, Quezon, the rest of Bicol Region, Sorsogon, Masbate, Misamis Provinces, Camiguin, Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and the rest of Visayas will experience similar weather condition.
The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.
The localized thunderstorms will bring the same weather condition over rest of Mindanao. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience isolated light rains due to Amihan.
The coastal weather condition over Luzon, Visayas and eastern section of Mindanao will be moderate to rough condition. The rest of Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
