One of the presidential aspirants in the Election 2022 is incumbent Sen. Bong Go. He is running under the PDP-Laban Cusi wing, the political party of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Prior to becoming a senator, he is a long-time aide of the President and was appointed as a special assistant to the president in 2016.

During the filing of candidacy period, Go filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for vice president.
