IMEE MARCOS – The Senator admitted that their family was heartbroken by the remarks of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte following the BBM-Sara tandem.

Several changes with regards to the Election 2022 took place after the filing of the candidacy period. Alliances were formed – presidential aspirant and former Senator Bongbong Marcos Jr. and vice-presidential aspirant and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte agreed to tandem.

However, the BBM-Sara tandem did not sit well with Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte who claimed that the Marcoses are behind the vice-presidential bid of his daughter. He raised a question on the Davao City Mayor running for vice president when she is the one leading the surveys for president in 2022.

According to Pres. Duterte, he will not support Marcos Jr. whom he described as a “very weak leader”. He also claimed that the former Senator is a spoiled child because he is an only son.
