The mom of Derek Ramsay said this about the new chapter in her son’s life
Celebrity couple Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna got married on November 11 at the Rancho Bernardo Luxury Villas in Bataan and the mother of the actor shared her thoughts on her son’s relationship now with the actress.
Derek and Ellen’s whirlwind romance started in January this year. The first time they met was through actor John Estrada. In February, they confirmed their relationship, and a month after that, the wedding proposal happened.
In a recent article by The Philippine Star columnist Pat-P Daza, she shared the conversation she had with the mother of Derek Ramsay. Remedios Ramsay said that the newlywed couple clicked because they are both real.
“What you see is what you get. They are both not afraid of what people will say so they continue to be honest and sincere about how they want to live their lives,” the mother of the Kapuso actor said.
Remedios also shared that she was not surprised by the fast development that happened in the relationship between Derek and Ellen, unlike other people. For her, it is an answered prayer.
“I have been praying for so long that my son would find someone who loves him sincerely and will give him everlasting happiness,” she said adding that she is elated to see that the couple is so happy being with each other.
The mother of Derek Ramsay also shared some details about the wedding. She said that it took two and a half months to prepare and the couple got what they really wanted for their special day. “We are very grateful to all the people who made this possible. I was happy, nervous, and thankful that my son finally found his partner,” the mother of the actor added.
When asked if Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna will continue their showbiz careers now that they are husband and wife, Remedios Ramsay said that she believes that the couple will not leave showbiz for now as her son has a contract to do an international movie in Puerto Rico in 2022.
