P1.7 Worth Of Illegal Drugs Seized In Zamboanga City
ZAMBOANGA CITY – Anti-drug operatives have recently retrieved illegal drugs worth at about P1.7 million in a bust operation in Zamboanga City.
The Philippine National Police in the city said that they have conduct a buy bust operation in Brgy. Tumaga, according to a report from ABS-CBN News.
This leads to the arrest of one man, identified under the alias “Mutlas”, 39 years of age, who was recognized as a high value target.
Retrieved from the suspect were 4 huge packs of suspected lllegal drugs weghing 250 grams and worth at about P1.7 million.
Police also reported that the suspect was a resident of Barangay Mariki but sells drugs at a high price in other places of the city such as Tumaga.
Based on the report, the suspect will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

The Maryjanes were being cultivated in five areas in Barangay Loccong, Tingalayan. The operation was based on the 41 paks of drug plant bricks that were confiscated in Quezon, Isabela.
